Thank you for your interest in a virtual consultation by our aquatic veterinary staff. You will be connected with our veterinarian for 15 minutes over a Zoom call. This call will be recorded for later reference. You are welcome to share your fish live, provide pre-recorded videos or pictures. We strongly recommend downloading the Zoom app on your mobile phone to provide a "live shot" if necessary. We also recommend you have your most recent water quality numbers ready. We are happy to help with general husbandry, water quality and maintenance, diet and normal behaviors.

We strongly recommend you attempt to reach out to an aquatic veterinarian in your area. Listings for these veterinarians can be found at the American Association of Fish Veterinarians and the World Aquatic Veterinary Medical Association.

Unfortunately, we are not able to provide a diagnosis or prescribe treatment during these consultations. This is in violation of the California Veterinary Practice Act since telemedicine is not legal to establish a veterinarian-client-patient relationship, otherwise known as a VCPR. We will not issue refunds for clients requesting this service. If necessary, we will attempt to connect you with your local aquatic veterinarian for additional diagnostics.
